2. Data we collect

When you use builderverse, we process:

• Account data: your email address. We do not ask for a name, password, or other identifying details.
• Payment data: processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. We receive only the order ID, amount, and credit pack purchased. We never see or store card details.
• Uploaded files: HTML files you upload for conversion. Stored on Supabase until you delete the project.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. Collected via server logs (Vercel), error tracking (Sentry), and, with your consent, Google Analytics.
• Rate-limit counters: per-account request counts, stored in Upstash Redis to prevent abuse of cost-heavy endpoints.

We do not use your uploaded HTML or any other personal data to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the conversion service
• Process payments
• Send transactional emails (sign-in links, account notifications)
• Respond to support requests
• Protect the service against abuse (rate limiting, error tracking)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. File handling

HTML files you upload are processed on our servers to generate Bricks Builder templates. Uploaded files and generated templates are stored to enable downloads. We do not access, analyze, or use your file contents for any purpose other than providing the conversion service, and we do not use them to train AI models.

5. Cookies and consent

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. These are always active and cannot be disabled while using the service.

We also use additional cookies and tracking technologies for analytics and product improvement. These are only activated with your explicit consent, which you provide via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your preferences at any time in your account settings.

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase (Supabase, Inc., USA) - authentication, database, and storage for uploaded HTML and generated templates.
• Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC, USA) - payment processing and invoicing for credit purchases. Acts as Merchant of Record and handles tax collection.
• Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) - application hosting and content delivery. Access logs containing IP address and request metadata are typically retained for 30 days.
• Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) - outbound transactional emails (sign-in links, account notifications).
• Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., USA) - error tracking. Event data is retained for 90 days. Session Replay is only enabled with your explicit consent.
• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) - usage analytics. Only loaded with your explicit consent. Google also acts as an independent controller for its own measurement and product-improvement purposes; see Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) - DNS and inbound email routing.
• Upstash (Upstash, Inc., USA) - Redis-backed rate-limit counters keyed to your account ID, used to protect the service from abuse.

Each provider acts as a data processor on our behalf (except where noted otherwise) and is subject to their own privacy policies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict the processing of your data
• Request data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time

8. Concerns about your data

If you believe we have mishandled your data, contact us at hello@bcu-solutions.com. You may also contact your local data protection authority if applicable.

9. California residents

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA. To exercise these rights, contact hello@bcu-solutions.com.

10. Automated decision-making

We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

11. Children's data

builderverse is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded HTML files and generated templates are stored for as long as the related project exists in your dashboard. You can delete a project at any time, after which the associated files are removed immediately. You can delete your entire account from your settings page; this immediately removes all projects, uploaded files, and personal data via cascade deletion. Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax law, even after account deletion.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
